Start a Credit Repair Business
The credit repair business will be profitable in any econometric climate. Just consider the current recession – the credit repair business has thrived while many other businesses have failed. American society depends heavily on credit to fuel the economy.
In the USA, more than 78 percent of people have financial problems, that causes their credit standing to suffer. Does it still surprise you that credit repair business is a leading choice for entrepreneurs?
There are more advantages to this business other than being always in demand for repairing bad credit. Very little money is required to start, personal rewards are high, it’s a great way to make money and marketing expenses are low to nil, as word-of-mouth recommendations are adequate.
OK, here’s the drill!
Step 1
Obtain all three free credit reports for your client. Do one of the following: Call 877-322-8228 or visit AnnualCreditReport dot com. Another way is to Google “free credit report.” Don’t be surprised when you have thousands of results to choose from.
Make sure you don’t skip this step, as in up to 9 out of 10 cases, the credit report will have mistakes that negatively effect credit. As a credit repair business you’ll help your client by disputing information on your clients report that you believe may be erroneous.
Step 2
Go over your clients credit report and try to detect errors. Be on the lookout for unpaid loans your client believes may not be his. This should be a red flag alerting you to possible identity theft. The thief may try to avoid raising suspicion by taking out loans in small to moderate amounts. Bottom line; the thief will make money, your clients credit score will suffer.
Step 3
Dispute mistakes by mailing the credit bureaus asking that the errors be corrected. If identity theft is expected, report the matter to the police; it will also absolve your client from responsibility to a certain extent.
Your business will be profitable depending on how successful you are representing your client with the credit bureaus. Most people seek a credit repair business because they would rather turn the matter over to someone else, saving themselves time and effort. And so if you want to have lots of clients seeking your services you must make your number one priority to act in the best interest of your clients. Failure to do so is likely to result in the failure of your business.
Step 4
Look out for specific credit repair software so you can use your time more effectively. Work as efficiently as possible, as the more effectively you use your time, the more clients you can serve and the higher your profits will be. However, do not rely on your software alone; you must utilize your software speed, but at the same time only a human being can make good judgment calls.
Step 5
Promote your credit repair business actively both online and offline. Offer freebies to potential clients, as a means of generating interest in your business – for example, useful information, free consultations, free credit report analysis, and so on. You’ll have no trouble making money if you remember to put your clients needs ahead of everything else.
A good way to start is by helping people you already know. And make sure you do the best job possible for them! Your good work will be rewarded by word-of-mouth promotion and you will have an unending chain of leads. To jump-start your business offer a limited time discount; and make sure your to give your best effort, so those that take you up on your offer will send you more business through referrals.
Some important points: The best way to make money is by ensuring that your client is happy. The profits will come. And finally, keep your fees reasonable, make outlandish promises, or be tempted to use illegal means, however tempting and profitable that may seem to be.
